These terms apply to Rowan House residential programmes and related follow-up services. Rowan House provides structured occupational-therapy-informed programming, accommodation, meals, practical learning, group support, and related services as described for the specific programme you book.

Suitability and participation

Participation is subject to suitability, capacity, and any pre-programme discussion or screening Rowan House considers necessary. Rowan House may decline or postpone a booking where the programme is not considered an appropriate fit, where safety concerns arise, or where required information has not been provided.

Programme details

Dates, duration, included meals, accommodation arrangements, group size, session schedule, follow-up support, price, currency, and any additional conditions will be confirmed before a booking is accepted. Promotional or preview material does not override the confirmed booking terms.

Shared accommodation

Where a programme uses shared accommodation, privacy screens or sleeping bays provide visual separation only and are not private bedrooms or soundproof spaces. Final sleeping arrangements and accessibility needs should be discussed before booking.

Health, medication, and emergencies

Participants remain responsible for providing accurate information about allergies, dietary needs, accessibility requirements, medications, relevant health considerations, and emergency contacts. Rowan House is not an emergency, detoxification, inpatient, or crisis service. Anyone needing urgent medical or mental-health care should contact the appropriate emergency or crisis service.

Conduct and safety

Participants are expected to behave respectfully and safely toward other guests, staff, and the property. Rowan House may end participation where conduct creates a safety risk, seriously disrupts the programme, or materially breaches agreed expectations.

Travel and personal property

Unless specifically confirmed in writing, travel to and from Rowan House is not included. Participants are responsible for their personal property. Rowan House is not responsible for loss or damage except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to the programme

Reasonable changes may be made to schedules, facilitators, meals, room arrangements, online follow-up dates, or activities where operational, safety, weather, or participant needs require it. If a material change affects the core service purchased, Rowan House will contact the participant and explain the available options.

Payments, cancellations, and refunds

Payment timing, deposit requirements, cancellation windows, refunds, credits, and transfer options are governed by the Rowan House Refund and Cancellation Policy and any booking-specific terms confirmed before payment.

Privacy

Personal information is handled according to the Rowan House Privacy Policy. Participants should avoid sending highly sensitive information through ordinary email unless Rowan House specifically requests it through an appropriate channel.
